Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is seeking applications for the chair and tenured full professor position in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The BME Department engages in a broad scope of advanced biomedical engineering research, including Mechanomedicine, Wearable devices and wireless monitoring, de novo Regenerative engineering, Multiscale and multimodal biomedical imaging, Computational medicine for big data and health informatics.

Candidates are must be established leaders and scholars with national and recognitions in the respective biomedical engineering fields and have managed large independent research programs. Candidates should also have significant overseas experience and be committed to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Founding Chair, the Dean of College of Engineering, and the President of SUSTech in the rapid development of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.? The Department has secured brand new laboratory and office space for the immediate growth of the department, with ample space in the new College of Engineering Building in the near future.? The resource and funds for the new Department of Biomedical Engineering are unprecedented in the world. In addition, we offer internationally competitive salaries and benefits.
